Bissell SpinWave
Bissell SpinWave relies on a pair of counter-rotating microfiber pads housed in a 14-inch cleaning head. They agitate stuck-on dirt and wipe out stains and grimes on sealed floors.

Bissell SpinWave Cordless
Last is the SpinWave Cordless, and this one offers the same mopping performance as the other two SpinWave mops. It uses a dual counter-rotating brush and mopping fibers for both stains and grime as well as delicate floors.
The big difference here is that while the other two SpinWave models, SpinWave 20391 and 2039A, offer continuous operation, the SpinWave Cordless offers just 20 minutes runtime courtesy of the 18V rechargeable battery pack.
Mopping Test Results
To give our readers a glimpse of these three Bissell SpinWave mops’ performance, we tested them using the everyday messes you face at home daily. Below are the observations we made.
The test involved mopping a one-meter square patch of messes we created using honey, egg yolk, margarine, pet urine stain, cooking oil, dirty paw marks, and plain water. We found out that the performance of these three Bissell SpinWave mops is just the same from several experiments. The difference comes in when you introduce cleaning solutions.
In the first test, we used just plain water without any cleaning solution. Well, the results were not so impressive. The sticky messes such as cooking oil, honey, and egg yolk had to mop, and after four passes, you could easily see signs of the particular mess. The results were exceptional for the lighter stains such as urine stains, water spills, and dirty paw marks.
In the second test, we introduced vinegar, a DIY cleaning solution. This time we witnessed a slight improvement in the mopping efficiency. At least all the sticky messes vanished more easily than when using plain water. The light messes were satisfactorily cleaned.
In the third test, we used the recommended Bissell cleaning formula, and the results were as advertised by the American brand. The three models mopped all the messes, including the tough and stuck-on stains, with a lot of ease. From our observations, the recommended Bissell formula makes the difference.
Usability
In this section, find out which of the three upright mops is user friendly. Here, we are going to focus solely on how to use the mop.
Bissell SpinWave
The SpinWave offers user-friendly operation. It’s easy to assemble the unit.
Before starting, make sure to fill the 28-ounce water tank with clean water and add the appropriate cleaning solution. Attach the right microfiber pad; for tough stains, use the scrubby pad. On delicate floors, attach the soft touchpad.
This mop comes with an On-Demand Trigger for easy and precise cleaning formula control. Last is the lightweight design and swivel steering for improved maneuverability.
SpinWave Plus

The runtime parameter is applicable only for cordless cleaners, where a cleaning cycle is limited to the battery life – runtime. So, these two cleaners can work without any limitations if they are connected to electricity.
