Deebot T10 Plus vs. N8 Pro+ Face-to-Face Comparison
The Deebot T10+ is a round-shaped robot vacuum with a low-profile design that allows it to go under low-profile furniture such as beds, coffee tables, and sofas.
The dimensions are 13.9×13.9×4.06 inches, while the weight is 9.5 lbs. Regarding aesthetics, it has a sleek design and has been finished in white.
The N8 Pro+ is also round-shaped and has a low-profile design, so it will also go under furniture with low clearance unrestricted.
The dimensions are 13.9×13.9×3.69 inches, while the weight is 7.8 lbs. As for aesthetics, it is also stylish, and there are two color options, black and white.
In this first round of this comparison review, it's hard to call a winner as both models are round-shaped, have a low-profile design, and an appealing design. However, the N8 Pro+ has the edge as it is slightly thinner.
The Deebot T10 Plus is a versatile robot cleaner that can sweep, vacuum and mop. You don’t have to buy a separate robot mop.
When it comes to specialization, it is suitable for vacuuming all hard floors, including tile, hardwood, vinyl, linoleum; you name it. If you are looking for a robot vacuum for carpets, it still fits the bill as it packs enough suction for deep cleaning low-pile and high-pile carpets, including area rugs.
The T10 is also ideal for households with pets as it picks up pet hair and wipes out other pet messes, such as urine stains and paw marks.
The N8 Pro+ is also an all-rounder with vacuuming and mopping features.
Regarding its specialty, it is suitable for all hard floors, including tile, hardwood, vinyl, marble, and linoleum, to mention a few. It’s also suitable for vacuuming all carpet types, regardless of whether they are high or low-pile carpets.
You can also rely on the N8 Pro+ to handle pet messes, from pet hair and kitty litter to urine stains and paw marks.
In this round, again, it is hard to call a winner as both models are 2-in-1 cleaners that vacuum and mop. They are also suitable for all bare floors, carpets, and pet messes.
The new Deebot T10 has a revamped motor that puts up a whopping 3000pa in its highest power mode.
For the record, this is a variable-speed motor, meaning you can adjust suction. There are 4 suction levels; Quiet, Standard, Max, and Max+.
Suction adjustment is manual. There is also a feature that automatically boosts suction when the robot switches from hard floors to carpets, guaranteeing a deeper clean.
The N8 Pro+ is also a powerful robot vacuum that puts up a cool 2600pa when firing on all cylinders.
Its motor is a variable-speed motor with 4 suction levels; Quiet, Standard, Max, and Max+. Suction adjustment is manual.
The N8 Pro+ also adjusts suction automatically when it transitions from hard floors to carpets.
Here, it's a close call, but the T10 is the ultimate winner as it has higher suction.
As mentioned earlier, the Deebot T10 can mop. It boasts ECOVACS’ innovative OZMO™ Pro 3.0 Oscillating Mopping System designed to tackle all kinds of stains and grime. Under the hood, the robot packs a 0.24L electronically controlled water tank and two composite mopping pads. The mopping head vibrates 600 times per minute, eliminating all embedded dirt and grime.
At the same time, the electronic water tank dispenses water with great precision for efficiency and fast drying time. For the record, you can adjust the water flow and vibration level from the app depending on the mess at hand. There are 3 water flow levels (Low, Medium, and High) and 3 vibration levels.
If you have carpets, you don’t have to worry about them getting wet as ECOVACS includes a carpet detection function so the robot can automatically avoid wetting carpets. You can also set No Mop Zones.
The N8 Pro+ can also mop but comes with OZMO™ Pro Mopping System, which is not as good as OZMO Pro 3.0 but still gets the job done. Under the hood, a 0.24L electronic water tank dispenses water precisely for efficiency and fast drying time alongside two composite mopping pads.
The main difference between the N8 Pro’s and T10’s mopping system is that the N8 Pro’s mopping head vibrates up to 480 times per minute, so it is not as effective in eliminating embedded dirt and stains as we will see in the cleaning test results.
One advantage of the N8 Pro+ is that it has 4 adjustable water flow levels (Low, Medium, High, Ultra High) for better cleaning customization depending on the mess. The N8 Pro+ also comes with ultrasonic carpet detection and No Mop Zones to prevent the robot from wetting carpets.
While both models can mop, the T10 is the best option courtesy of OZMO Pro 3.0, which is more effective as its mopping head has higher vibration frequency and, moreso, you can adjust the vibration level to suit your cleaning needs.
Deebot T10 has an elaborate navigation system that enables it to find its way around your home without bumping into obstacles. This is LiDAR Navigation + dToF sensors.
It is backed up by upgraded AIVI 3.0 Object Recognition and Avoidance. As a result, the T10 can precisely identify common indoor obstacles such as socks, shoes, charging cables, headphones, and so on.
There is also a 960P camera that identifies and captures images of static and moving objects, enhancing obstacle avoidance.
The N8 Pro Plus is also an intelligent robot vacuum in terms of navigation. It also leverages LiDAR Navigation + dToF sensors for obstacle detection and avoidance.
There are also anti-drop sensors that prevent the robot from toppling on the stairs. But then, it is not as intelligent as the T10 as it doesn’t come with AIVI 3.0 Object Recognition and Avoidance or a camera.
Instead, it comes with TrueDetect, which uses laser-based 3D technology for obstacle avoidance. But all the same, it navigates with precision in rooms with average traffic.
Here, the new Deebot T10 is the clear winner as it has better obstacle avoidance courtesy of AIVI 3.0 Object Recognition and Avoidance and the camera.
As a top-of-the-range robot vacuum, the T10 can create hyper-accurate 3D maps of your home for efficient and entire-level cleaning courtesy of TrueMapping 2.0, which enables the robot to create maps 10x faster with 4x the accuracy of your typical robot vacuum using LDS Technology.
For the record, the T10 can create and save up to 3 maps and 1 temporary map, making it ideal for homes with more than 1 floor. When it comes to containment, you can set virtual walls or No Mop Zones. Other features include Smart Spot Cleaning, Custom Cleaning Mode, and Cleaning Route Schedule.
The N8 Pro+ is also a smart robot vacuum that creates accurate 3D maps of your home for efficient cleaning.
The mapping system is also TrueMapping but doesn’t match the much more advanced TrueMapping 2.0. But the N8 Pro Plus will create maps with 2x the coverage and 4x the precision of previous LDS mapping technology.
The N8 Pro+ can save 2 maps plus 1 new temporary map. Other mapping features include Virtual Boundaries, No Mop Zones, and Customized Cleaning.
Here again, Deebot T10 Plus is the winner as it has a much more advanced mapping system and can save more maps.
The Deebot T10 comes with a 3-stage filtration system that combines a filter net, sponge, and a high-efficiency filter that captures 99% of allergens, pollen, dust, and other undesirable elements leaving your ambiance fresh.
One thing to note, this is a high-efficiency filter that can filter down to 0.6 microns. It is not a true-HEPA filter; HEPA filters filter down to 0.3 microns.
But all the same, the 3-stage design makes it a worthy feature. Interestingly, the T10 has a mobile air-freshening feature and comes with two air-freshening capsules.
The N8 Pro+ also comes with a 3-stage filtration system that combines a filter net, sponge, and a high-efficiency filter. It also captures 99% of allergens, pollen, and dust, so you can enjoy a fresh atmosphere.
Like the T10, the N8 Pro Plus’ filtration system is not based on true HEPA filters as it filters down to 0.6 microns.
Unfortunately, the N8 Pro+ doesn’t have an air freshening feature.
While they both come with a 3-stage filtration system, the T10 Plus is the best choice here as it doubles up as an air freshener.
Deebot T10 comes with two brushes. First is the main brush, a floating rubberized brush for agitating and lifting dirt.
We like the rubber material as it prevents tangling when dealing with stubborn long dog hairs.
The other brush system is a pair of spinning brushes that sweep the wall edges and deep corners that the main floating brush can’t reach.
The N8 Pro+ is not different as it comes with the primary and secondary brush. The primary brush is the same floating rubberized brush that the T10 comes with.
It is also an antitangle brush perfect for picking up long pet hair without jamming.
The N8 Pro+ also has two spinning side brushes for sweeping the wall edges and corners.
There is no winner here, as both ECOVACS robot vacuums have the same main brush and a pair of spinning side brushes.
The Deebot T10 Plus comes with a 0.4L onboard bin, enough to hold dirt for a few days. One advantage of this model is that it can automatically empty itself as it comes with the ECOVACS Empty Station.
Inside the Empty Station is a 3.2L sealed dust bag, enough to hold dirt for up to 60 days for a hands-free cleaning experience. The station empties the onboard bin in 10 seconds courtesy of 21 kPa suction.
Interestingly, you can set your preferred emptying schedule. Once the bag is full, it needs to be discarded and a new bag fitted in. Unfortunately, the T10 comes with just a single dustbag, so you will have to get a replacement bag after 60 days.
On the other hand, the N8 Pro+ comes with a larger 0.42L onboard bin which can hold quite a lot of dirt.
Like the T10, this is also a self-emptying robot vacuum, so you don’t have to empty the onboard bin now and then manually. The Empty Station comes with a 2.5L sealed dust bag that can hold dirt for a month.
While it’s smaller, we are glad the N8 Pro+ comes with 2 dustbags included.
Here, the Deebot T10+ is the winner as its Empty Station has a larger dustbag, so you can go for a longer time without worrying about a full bin.
The Deebot T10 comes with a 5200mAh lithium-ion battery that offers up to 260 minutes of runtime when working on hard floors in Quiet mode.
However, when you switch to high-power modes, the runtime drops.
As for power management, the T10 is an intelligent robot vacuum that knows when to recharge. It will head to its dock, recharge, and resume cleaning automatically. The recharge time is around 6.5 hours.
On the other hand, the N8 Pro+ comes with the same lithium-ion battery, but this time with a 3200mAh capacity.
In Quiet mode, the N8 Pro+ offers up to 110 minutes of runtime. But obviously, in high-power modes, the runtime dips.
As for power management, this is also a smart robot vacuum that recharges and resumes cleaning automatically. The recharge time is around 4 hours.
The T10 wins this round, as it has a battery with higher capacity translating to longer runtime. But the good thing about the N8 Pro+ is that it can recharge and resume cleaning automatically, and the recharge time is shorter.
The Deebot T10 is a smart home-ready robot vacuum with several convenience features.
First, the T10 Plus are 3 cleaning modes, Auto, Custom, and Area, and can be scheduled to clean at specific times. It is compatible with 2.4GHz WiFi for mobile app operation and voice assistant compatibility.
On the app, you have access to all the controls. If you don’t want to use the app, you can sync it with Alexa or Google Assistant and control the robot with your voice. The T10 also comes with Live Monitoring with Two-Way Audio courtesy of the camera, mic, and speakers.
The N8 Pro+ is also a smart robot vacuum with 3 cleaning modes, Auto, Custom, and Area mode, and can be programmed to clean at specific times.
It also supports 2.4GHz WiFi for app operation and voice assistant syncing. The app has all the robot’s controls.
You can also sync it with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice operation.
The T10 is the best choice when it comes to smart features. It comes with a unique extra; Live Monitoring with Two-Way Audio.
The Deebot T10 Plus, just like all other ECOVACS products, comes with a 12 months warranty. So in case, it develops a problem, you are eligible for repair or replacement as long as you abide by the warranty’s terms and conditions.
Regarding customer support, Deebot has a reliable support team that is always ready to help its consumers with anything regarding their robot, from operation to maintenance.
Talking of maintenance, the parts, and supplies such as filters, dust bags, and brushes are readily available on the market.
The N8 Pro+ also includes a 12 months warranty, so you are covered if the robot malfunctions within the first year of purchase.
Support is also available, so you won’t struggle with operation or maintenance. When it comes to supplies, they are in plenty at affordable prices.
There is no winner here as both models are from the same brand, have a 12 months warranty, and supplies are available.

Wrapping Up
That’s the end of this Deebot T10 Plus vs. N8 Pro+ comparison review. The Deebot N8 Pro+ is a great deal as it is a 2-in-1 cleaner that vacuums, mops, and packs some bells and whistles. However, it can’t match the T10 Plus, which offers better vacuuming and mopping and freshens the air. The T10 also has longer runtime, better navigation and mapping, a larger dustbag, and Live Monitoring with Two-Way Audio.

The robots mop. But what they do with wet mopping pads after cleaning? Is it necessary to install and remove them manually each time?
Richard Harrison
Thank you very much for your question! Deebot N8 Pro+ and Deebot T10 come with disposable mopping pads. If you’re looking for a robot vacuum cleaner with mopping function and reusable pads, try Ecovacs Deebot T10 OMNI. After each mopping session the robot dries them with built-in heating element in the Auto-Empty station.

Can I run Deebot T10 or N8 Pro+ with cleaning solutions for mopping? Is it allowed?
Swartzcop Kennedy
Thank you very much for your question! You can add cleaning solutions to the water tank of Deebot T10 and Deebot N8 Pro+ vacuum cleaners. Solutions mostly help eliminate odors, which is a nice pro for pet owners. The Deebot brand also sells its own cleaning solutions.
