Short Description
Nowadays, robotic vacuum cleaners are replacing standard vacuum cleaners thanks to their outstanding performance and fully autonomous work. Some of them have a smartphone app that allows you to start the cleaning during your absence. It is also very convenient to start them at night, and as they work with a deficient noise level, you will be delighted to see your clean kitchen in the morning. The most technological models can perform mopping and vacuuming for hard floors in one go!
Two models, Deebot T8 AIVI vs N8 Pro models, are produced by ECOVACS, one of the leaders of robotic cleaners, and showed excellent results in cleaning tests, see their technical comparison below.
Both Deebot robot vacuum cleaners are disk-shaped; T8 AIVI is almost two times bigger - 18.9 x 16.85 x 6.61 inches, 13 pounds vs. N8 Pro 13.7 x 13.7 x 3.6 inches 7.8 pounds. But this parameter is not so important; robot vacuum cleaners work fully automatically; you need to pick them up only during seldom maintenance.
These two Deebot models can vacuum and mop the hard floor simultaneously; the carpets are automatically avoided. For carpets, powerful suction is provided only.
Deebot T8 AIVI vs N8 Pro significantly loses in such parameters as suction power. Also, N8 doubles suction power automatically on carpets, which makes perfect cleaning results.
These two models can mop the hard floor; the T8 AIVI model has a 240 mL water tank with four levels of water control for various needs of cleaning the hard floor.
Even though two robots have different object recognition systems, both are equally good at determining how to clean around obstacles and not get stuck there. But in comparison, Deebot T8 AIVI vs N8 Pro wins as it recognizes them 2 times faster and four times more accurately.
Deebot T8 AIVI model has laser technology to 2X map the house and 4 times more effective than other technologies (N8 Pro as well) and 30% faster. In both models, the virtual boundaries can be created to protect areas from cleaning.
Both compared models have the same three-layered filter to remove up to 99% of dust, bacteria, mold, etc., up to 6 microns in size. This filter does not require water cleaning, simple regular maintenance with dumping the content out.
There is no difference between Deebot T8 AIVI vs N8 Pro in terms of construction and type of brushes. The main brush is made from lamellae and bristles; the side brushes are relatively long compared to other robots. A special tool is included for simplified hair removal from brushes in the package.
The exact size of the dustbin with dust retention flap for these Deebot models allows to keep all debris from one cleaning procedure. These models are compatible with purchased separately 2.5 L Auto Empty station that can hold dust and hair for more than 4 weeks.
Deebot T8 AIVI vs N8 Pro has a battery with a larger capacity that allows working significantly longer and cleaning up to 3000 sqm. The charging in both Deebots are executed automatically on its docking station. After 3-5 hours, they will continue to clean the house when they are fully charged.
With a perfect mapping and navigation system, both robot cleaners can mop and vacuum in one go the hard floor and perform dry suction for carpets. Both models can be integrated into an overall home smart system and can be controlled with your voice by Alexa or Google Assistant. On-demand Deebot T8 AIVI can even make live video streams with the real-time camera.
Deebot T8 AIVI comes with:
The robot itself, a docking station, 2 side brushes and one HEPA filter for replacement after the end of service life the already installed ones, one piece of washable mopping pad and five pieces of disposable ones.
Deebot N8 Pro comes with:
The robot itself, a docking station, one piece of washable mopping pad and ten pieces of disposable ones, 2 side brushes and one HEPA filter to install into the robot.

Summary
Deebot T8 AIVI and N8 PRO are excellent examples of fully automatic robotic cleaners for dry and wet cleaning. Deebot N8 PRO has more powerful suction, but Deebot T8 AIVI has a battery with longer capacity and corresponding extended runtime. On the other hand, there are no construction differences such as dustbin volume or number of brushes. Furthermore, different mapping and navigation systems do not significantly impact cleaners’ performance. In summary, the choice between these robotic cleaners should be based on the number of sq meters in your house and the required cleaning intensity.
