I appreciate your question. Dreame was founded in 2015 and was part of the Xiaomi Group before 2017. The company produces robotic vacuums, cordless stick vacuums, and other home appliances. We recommend looking closer at this brand, as it produces high-quality robots with innovative features for affordable prices (sometimes significantly lower than competitors with the same characteristics).
Thank you for mentioning this. Yes, it has. The docking station is equipped with a clean water tank for automatic water and solution mixing and refilling in the robot’s water tank. To access this tank, you need to lift the upper cover of the base station. If you look at the base station from the side where the robot arrives, on the left is located the used water tank (4 L), and on the right is the clean water tank (4.5 L).
Good Question! Thanks! Even though robots with 18.000 Pa of suction power are now on the market, for regular and deep cleaning of carpets, 8000-9000 Pa is enough. Higher suction power allows the floor and carpets to be cleaned faster with fewer passes of the same spot. However, it also leads to more battery usage and more frequent recharging to finish one full cleaning cycle. Dreame X40 and Deebot T30S both have very good suction power.
I am very glad to clarify the information for you. Dreame X40 has two rotating mopping pads; the left pad is extended for better edge cleaning and dirt removal under low furniture and hard-to-reach corners. On carpets, thanks to carpet sensors, the mopping pads are automatically lifted 0.4 inches to protect the carpet from moisture.
There are several robot modes, such as vacuuming, mopping, and mopping. In the only mopping mode, the side brushes are lifted as well. When the robot arrives at the base station, the robot’s water tank is automatically refilled with a mixture of a cleaning solution and clean water, and the mopping pads are automatically washed (the water temperature is 158 F) and dried with hot air. The robot’s water tank has an electric pump ensuring 32 water levels.
Thank you for the question. To minimize the size of the dustbin in the robot and the dust bag in the base station, the construction of the dust bin and bag ensures that dust is compressed against the filter.
Thanks for your curiosity. Yes, you can customize all cleaning cycles in the smartphone app for both robotic vacuum cleaners. You can adjust the suction power, the water level, the cleaning areas, or the set of no-go zones.
Thanks for your inquiry. The TruEdge Adaptive Edge mopping system is close to the Dreame X40 edge mopping system. When the 3D omnidirectional sensors detect the edges, the left mopping pad is extended using a retractable design approaching up to 1 mm distance from walls and obstacles. This results in 100% cleaning coverage.
