ECOVACS Deebot X2 vs. T20: Similarities and Differences Explained
The new Deebot X2 takes a different approach when it comes to design. It maintains the same low-profile and compact design as the previous model, but the shape is different. The X2 is a somewhat square cleaner. The robot’s dimensions are 12.6”W ×13.9′ ‘L × 3.7”H while the station measures 15.5”W x 17.4′ ‘L x 20.8”H.
Regarding build quality, we like the premium-grade materials used in the construction and the sleek and stylish designs inspired by Jacob Jensen studio. The Deebot X2 OMNI is available in either black or white.
Deebot T20, on the other hand, is a round-shaped robot vacuum with a compact and low-profile design that allows it to pass between tight spaces and go under low-profile furniture, just like Deebot X2. The robot’s dimensions alone are 14.25″ in diameter and 4.07″ in height, while the station is 16.9”W x 17.6′ ‘L x 22.8”H.
The craftsmanship is also excellent. You can be guaranteed that the T20 will take some abuse, from scratch marks to falls. The design is also sleek as it is also inspired by Jacob Jensen studio. The T20 is available in white only.

Deebot X2 is still a 2-in-1 cleaner like the predecessor, the Deebot X1. It can vacuum and mop simultaneously, so you don’t need a separate robot mop to get the job done.

The Deebot X2 uses the OZMO TURBO 2.0 System that consists of an OZMO Turbo pressurized spinning mop cleaning head with two counterrotating microfiber mopping pads and an electric water tank with 3 water flow levels: Low, Medium, and High.
The X2 also has a heating function that heats water 131℉, making it more effective on oily and sticky messes. Interstingly, ther OMNI Station is fully automated.
It can automatically hot-wash the mopping pads and dry them. The OMNI Station also has two large water reservoirs for auto-refilling the onboard tank and collecting dirty water.
Deebot has Automatic Carpet Detection and a 15mm Mop Lifting mechanism to avoid wetting carpets.
There is not much difference between the Deebot X2 OMNI and T20 OMNI in terms of mopping performance. The T20 also deploys the OZMO TURBO 2.0 System, consisting of the OZMO Turbo pressurized head with two counterrotating mopping pads attached alongside an electric water tank with 3 water flow levels: Low, Medium, and High.
This robot mop also heats water to 131℉ for more effective cleaning. The OMNI Station is also automated, so the T20 will auto-refill and empty the water tanks and clean and dry the mopping pads.

The new Deebot X2 has a 6,400mAh lithium-ion battery that offers up to 210 minutes of runtime in Quiet mode. Being an intelligent robot vacuum, the X2 knows when to get some juice and heads to the docking station, where it will recharge.
After recharging, it leaves the dock and heads to where it left off to complete the cleaning task. The normal recharge time is around 6 hours, but there is a fast charging function.
