Great point. Thanks for asking. Eufy X10 Pro and Deebot T30S have a self-emptying docking station, so in case of much collected dust, the robot will come to the station for dust removal as they are equipped with a full bin indicator. The robots are also designed with enough dust bin capacity according to the cleaning area and battery capacity. If the battery is low, they also auto-return for charging, and during charging, they will be emptied as well.
I am very glad that you chose my blog to ask your question. As I stated in response to the previous question, the dust bin in the robot has a full bin indicator, but with normal operation mode, it is almost impossible to make it full during one cleaning cycle. When the robot arrives at the docking station, the bin is automatically emptied. Are you sure that you have situations when the robot properly does not work because of the full dust bin? Please send me a response message about your observation. By the way, the dust bag also indicates that when it is full, you should replace it once every two months.
I am pleased you asked this. Eufy X10 Pro and Deebot T30S have one edge-sweeping brush located on the right. Dual sweeping brushes ensure better edge cleaning, especially in complex spaces and large homes. Robots with one single brush are more affordable, but the robot in narrow passages has to pass twice the space to remove all dust from both sides. Most modern robotic vacuums, even high-end models, have one side brush. In my opinion, one edge brush is sufficient for good cleaning performance.
Thank you for your curiosity. The Eufy X10 Pro OMNI with an all-in-one station is multi-functional. It performs self-emptying, dust storage, washing mopping pads with water from a clean water tank (the water has room temperature), drying of mopping pads with heated air, and self-refilling of the robot’s water tank from the 3L water tank. For comparison, in Deebot T30, the water temperature for mopping pad washing is 158 F, which is better for cleaning and removal of all bacteria and odors.
Thank you for your question. Virtual walls and no-go zones are used to avoid specific areas during robot cleaning. Virtual walls are an old barrier system that requires physical sensors (normally separate accessories) installed near the required area to create an infrared or magnetic signal. This system does not require a smartphone app or floor plan, but it needs to be properly installed and limited to specific areas.
No-go zones are installed in the smartphone app and drawn on the digital map. They are part of the smart navigation technology if the robot has LiDAR or camera-based systems. You can easily create zones of different sizes or combine several zones, better for larger homes than virtual walls. Deebot T30S supports virtual boundaries, but not the old ones with physical barriers – the virtual boundaries of two types (no entry area & mop only).
I am glad you asked that. Deebot T30S has a battery that has a fast charging function.
Great point; thanks for asking. If you have low-profile furniture, then you need a robot cleaner with a low height. Otherwise, the robot will not be able to go under the furniture, and you will need to clean it manually.
