ILIFE V3s Pro vs V5s Pro – Comparison Review

ILIFE V3s Pro and V5s Pro robots have the same round design, shape, dimensions, and weight of 4,5 lbs. They differ in color – V3s is white, and V5s is gold. Their low height allows both models to go under all furniture. The robots have protective bumpers and can climb up to 0.39 inches in height.

There is a significant difference in the functionality of ILIFE V3s Pro vs V5s Pro. V3s Pro only does dry cleaning, while V5s Pro can perform vacuuming and mopping. The similarity is cleaning surfaces; both are good at cleaning hard floors, hardwood floors, and thin (not thick!) carpets. But anyway, V5s Pro is a winner in this comparison.

Again, in the comparison of V3s Pro and V5s Pro, V5x Pro is the better robot cleaner as it has almost twice more extensive suction power. The more significant value ensures better cleaning performance. But even with 600 Pa, V3s Pro can suck pet hair, dirt, dust, and small particles. V5s Pro has four cleaning modes with different suction power – auto, spot, edge, and max. In contrast, V3s Pro has only three – auto, edge, and space.

V5s only obtains a mopping function. To start mopping, you need to change the dustbin to a water tank and put on the blue mopping cloth. It can clean even stubborn stains on the floor.

These ILIFE models have the same random navigation without any smart features. But both have three underneath infrared sensors to avoid cliffs and stairs and ten front infrared sensors to avoid obstacles. As a result, robots are protected from collisions and drop-offs, and no attention is needed during their work. Unfortunately, they are not equipped with dirt, carpet, or full dustbin sensors.

V3s Pro and V5s Pro do not have any mapping function. There is no smartphone application with interactive zones where you can install virtual boundaries, no go zones, and no mop zones. No multi-floor planning as well. Also, you cannot set only one room for cleaning.

There is no winner in ILIFE V3s Pro and V5s Pro. Both dustbins are equipped with non-washable HEPA filters. They should be cleaned after each use and replaced every month. The water tank V5s Pro is not equipped with a filter.

The vital design feature of both models is that they do not have a main brush – no roller brush, only two standard side brushes. You do not need to extract tangling hair from the brush; everything goes directly into the big tangle-free suction port on the bottom. Both robots are equipped with a cleaning tool for dustbins.

The dustbins of these robots are identical – 300 ml. The filter is installed in the bin. V5s Pro has two containers, one for dry and one for mop cleaning. The size of a dustbin is enough to keep all collected debris and dirt, but it should be cleaned after each use.

There is no difference in control features as well for V3s Pro and V5s Pro. They have a push-up button on the robot's body to start cleaning in auto mode and remote control with an LCD screen for more extensive features. With the remote, you can choose the cleaning mode and set a schedule in advance. In addition, LED indicators near the start button on the robot show the cleaning status.
