For many years, Eufy or RoboVac robotic vacuum cleaners produced by Anker Innovations have been leaders in budget models. These vacuums feature obstacle avoidance, laser navigation, smart control, high suction power, and many more for affordable prices.
I consider their robots reliable models, but they lack high-end features. But recently, they presented models with self-emptying and cleaning base stations and integration with smart home assistance, and still for very attractive prices.
You should definitely keep a close eye on Eufy’s last releases, as they are good competitors to Deebot and Roomba Brands.
Eufy S1 Pro and X10 Pro – Face-to-Face Comparison
For this comparison, I have chosen two top models: Eufy S1 Pro and X10 Pro, which are full of the most advanced features for effortless and hands-free cleaning. The S1 Pro is the first full washing robot cleaner, while the X10 is a standard vacuum and mopping robotic cleaner. I have prepared a detailed comparison to show all the differences and highlight their pros and cons.

The futuristic design of the Eufy S1 Pro makes this model very special. It has a square grey and black robotic cleaner and an elegant base station. The robot has a magnetic cover for easy lifting and maintenance of internals.
Under the cover is located a reset button, Wi-Fi LED indicator, and power switch. The dustbin and water tank are located under the cover, while the robot water sink with filters is removable and located at the back of the robot. The design of the robot ensures corner-to-edge cleaning.
The X10 Pro’s design is more traditional, but its shape is also close to square. It also has a navigation LIDAR that decreases its ability to clean low-profile furniture below (not good). In front, it has an RGB Camera and LED light for better navigation. The cover is opened easily to access a dustbin.
I like the Eufy S1 more just because it is unique. In terms of dimensions, weight, form, and functionality, they are close.

In terms of general comparison of the S1 Pro and the X1 Pro, they are the same – they can vacuum and mop. The significant difference is that the S1 Pro can perform only separate modes, while the X1 Pro can perform vacuum-only mode and simultaneous mop and vacuum.
For mopping, Eufy S1 Pro uses a constant rolling mop (170 rpm) that is always clean because of the constant water flow that refreshes it with a detergent. Before mopping, the scraper removes the dirt. The dirty water is squeezed out and collected in a dirt water sink. On carpets, the mopping roll is automatically raised by 0.5 inches.
Unlike the S1 model, the X10 Pro has two pentagonal rotating (180 rpm) mopping pads (washable). This shape is supposed to be the best suited to miss the spots and access edges. The mopping pads are constantly wet as they are washed by the constant flow of freshwater from the built-in tank.
Nevertheless, I have to say that the S1 Pro rolling mop is wider and has full coverage of the floor. I like it more for mopping activities. I was surprised by the Manufacturer’s recommendation to avoid cleaning high-pile carpets thicker than 0.79 inches for the S1 Pro and for the X10, even 0.71 inches.

There are no significant differences between suction power and suction level in the comparison eufy S1 Pro vs. X10 Pro.
The robots have four suction levels – quiet, standard, turbo, and max.
Moreover, the X10 model has an additional choice between fast, standard, and deep modes, which determines the quantity of passes on the same spot. The S1 robot’s efficiency in cleaning is determined by the number of passes – one or two. Additionally, these robots can perfectly detect the carpet to boost the power and avoid mopping.

For navigation, Eufy S1 Pro uses a 3D Matrix Eye Sensor located in the front, a true AI Sensor, dToF Lidar, and wall-following sensors. It can detect obstacles up to 1 inch in height, which allows it to react with millimeter-level precision.
You can set the height sensitivity of detecting obstacles in the smartphone app – safe (for low furniture), medium (balance), and free modes (prevent items under furniture from scratching).
Using carpet detection technology, the robot avoids carpets from mopping.
There is no doubt that the X10 Pro is more advanced and precise in navigation and obstacle detection. It can detect more than 100 obstacles, including toys, cables, and more.
For cleaning in dark places, LED lights were used in front. For navigation, it uses LIDAR and RGB cameras. You do not need to set any sensitive levels in the app for the X10 Pro; you always have one of the best obstacle recognition systems in the world.
Filtration

Filtration System | High-performance filter | High-efficiency filter |
The plastic dust bin of the S1 Pro and the X10 is located under the cover for easy extraction and manual cleaning. It has a plastic handle.
The high-performance filter is protected with a top cover that is released using latches.
Before the HEPA filter, the dusted air goes through a pre-filter, which ensures longer service life. The filters of the S1 and X10 are washable and can trap dust, pollen, molds, and bacteria up to 0.3 microns.

Eufy S1 Pro has one main rolling brush and two side brushes for cleaning. Side brushes are marked with red and gray colors for installation on the correct side.
The main rubber brush with fins of a special form efficiently vacuums the floor, collects dust, and prevents hair tangles.
Unlike the S1, the X10 comes with a more traditional rubber main brush with rubber fins for the whole length. To remove the tangled hair, it has a detangled comb on one side. Moreover, as with all other modern vacuum cleaners, it has only one side brush on the right side. I like two brushes, especially for tight spots, to reduce turns and clean paths.
Built-in tank features

---|---|---|
Dustbin tank | 330 ml | 330 ml |
Water tank | 80 ml | 80 ml |
Again, at this point, there is no difference between models. They have the same dustbin and water tank built-in the robot, but the S10 has a built-in dirty tank.
Thanks to the auto-refilling and auto-emptying base station, if during the cleaning cycle, the robot is out of water or full of dust, it will go to the base station and, after a while, will continue cleaning.
Compared to many other advanced modern models, I have to admit the size of built-in tanks is not important due to the high-functional base station.

Eufy S1 Pro is supplied with a Uniclean Base Station with an installed dust bin, while Eufy X10 – has an OMNI all-in-one station. Actually, even though the stations have different appearances, their functionality is very similar. The stations offer automated and effortless maintenance.
The Uniclean Base Station includes ten automatic features to minimize manual work after cleanings – 20% fast battery charging, auto-emptying of a robot’s bin into a 2.5 L anti-bacterial dust bag to store up to 68 days, washing and drying (131 F) of a rolling mop, auto refilling of a water tank in a robot with a water-hard floor cleaner mixture. For cleaning and mixture preparation, it uses ozonated water from the built-in ozone generator using tap water.
All wastewater is collected in the wastewater reservoir at the base station. You can set the frequency of washing and emptying in the mobile app. I especially want to highlight that the clean water reservoir is transparent to see the level, and the height of the base station has a perfect height for manual control. For manual control, you may use LCD buttons at the station on the top.
The OMNI station does not offer such huge functionality. Nevertheless, all main features are included – self-emptying for storage for up to 2 months, self-washing and drying (113 F) of washing pads, and self-refilling. For easy manual cleaning, the bottom part, including the tray and mopping pad cleaning tray, is detachable.
In the stations, there are two tanks – clean and dirty water tanks. The dirt is collected in the disposable dust bag.
You can control the base from the smartphone or by using buttons on the station. LED indicator shows current troubles and alerts. Obviously, the base station, the S10 Pro, ensures better bacteria and odor protection.

For charging, the robot uses the back charging contact pins to reach the base recharge sensors. The more preferable model has a larger capacity and correspondingly larger working time. But in this case, both robots have advantages.

Automation and smart features are average for these cleaners as well. Deebot and Roomba high-end models for sure have more smart features, but for middle-price models, you can hardly expect more. Nevertheless, each of the described has unique features that you may consider helpful for your home and family.

Setting up the robots
Every Eufy cleaner should be prepared for first use. The S1 Pro or X10 Pro robots should be taken out of the package, and all stickers and foam packing should be removed. You need to install the side brushes/side brushes in place while the rolling mop/mops, rolling brush, and all tanks are installed in the factory.
After that, the base should be placed according to the recommendations and connected to the power source using the power cord. Further, the hard cleaner cartridge (only for the S10) should be installed, and the water should be filled into the clean water tank.
If you want to use the mobile app, you need to pair the mobile app and the robot; please use the QR code under the cover. Also, before charging, you need to turn on the robot using the push button. During the first run, the robot creates maps of the home. It is recommended to use only vacuum mode 1-3 times before mopping.
Maintenance
The Manufacturer calculates cleaning and replacement frequency based on working hours. In addition to the recommended frequency, the smartphone app always controls the frequency. Also, if the part is damaged, you need to replace it immediately.

There are many differences between Eufy S1 Pro vs. X10. They are connected to the base station, cleaning orientation, batteries, mopping pads, brushes, and performance tests.
However, both robots are recommended for mopping and vacuuming homes of all sizes. I have concerns about obstacle detection of the S1 Pro, so if you have pet waste or a lot of small toys, the X1 Pro is more recommended. But if you are a fan of clean washing pads and killed gems and bacteria, then the S1 Pro with base station with ozonator is the winner.
