G-5 stands for Gates 5 (there are 5 in my family). It is designed to be a sentry robot, it's purpose is to stand guard and monitor what goes on in my house while I'm asleep or away. G-5 was filmed in the movie I, Robot starring Will Smith. Watch for him in the robo repair store.
