Cost: ~$80
For micro sumo dimensions/rules, see http://www.portlandrobotics.org/rules/sumo-rules.html. This was my first attempt at building a micro sumo, and it was grossly underweight! At 60 grams, other micro sumos just pushed it around like a feather at last years Robomaxx event. I did learn a bit, and it was a blast to build!
Components:
- 1 micro robot board from Noetic Desgin
- 6 nicads ( I forgot specs)
- 2 hamamatsu photoreflectors (line sensors)
- 2 micro techmaxx
- 1A gear motors
- 2 playmobile toy wheels

Nice job! Lightweight?
Nice job! Lightweight? Nothing a block of lead glued underneath wouldn't solve :D
