What do you plan on using for your processor? Can you give a sense of dimensions? Where does the power source go? Looks like a fun project. I've been wanting to build something like this for a while.
We're currently using an Arduino Mega coupled with the AeroQuad shield. The quadrotor has a motor to motor distance of 20 inches. The battery is a 4000mAh, 3 cell LiPo pack and sits just underneath the frame in the center of the 'craft.
The project is a ton of fun- we've got it flyable now by remote control, videos to come!
