The Talking Edu-tainment/References Interapplicator (or T.E.R.I.) Project
OK the technologies finally caught up with me, so... The T.E.R.I. Project is a kinetically charged (needs NO-BATTERIES) Electro-Mechanical (5'3") android/humanoid RF linked to PC for expandable DB. Programable by conversation (I converse with my A.I. computer everynight.), it has no need for servos or pistons thanx to NASA...this lite-weight concept is even submersible for swimming with human operator! But, alas it's UN-FUNDED, so it's only in "mock-up" stage with my concept confirmed as feasible by many Professional Engieers (both Electrical & Mechanical!), my home cluttered with sub-systems for "Proto type" and photo not allowed on this site as it is not enough pixels(?).

I did reply, didn't you get
I did reply, didn't you get it? I got another comment instructing obsolete information on mobility! SERVOS are too bulky and batteries have long been a problem for Robotics. So, simply replace and subtract weight from robots with SMA (Strength Memory Alloy or "MUSCLE WIRE", NOT that expensive!) ...want more strength? Look in mirror! To get more power from "MUSCLE WIRE", simply increase wires, then twist. It looks like a human muscle. But, why add bulk and weight? Your Robot can easilly depend on you for muscle. Then, "GOODRICH" developed tiny Fiber Optics Gyros for (NASA) guided missles, they ARE marketed to the public. Do a Web search! Get one F.O.G. "Primary" and one "Secondary" (or Back-up) ...ASIMO'S Expensive fall down stairs documented that need! Nice, to replace batteries. Think: KINETICS & LUMENS! Get a cheap "SHAKE LIGHT", shake, then power up. Not too bright. But, get several, do the same and cross beams. More light, right? Now, "Reverse Engineer" same and wire output in series. WOW, some major ESD! NO-BATTERIES. Much less bulk & weight.
Is this project on hold now?
Is this project on hold now? Is it a fully working Android? My only worry is that it comes very close to the theroy of the "Uncanny Vally" syndrome (Robots that look too much like Humans)
...Before you even get
...Before you even get started on cost, a guy raced this concept to U.S. Market at this years CES, and after excellent engineering costing millions of dollars (personal money), dropped the price and ONLY sold one at $8000., due to lack of focus on proper market, name of robot/appliance, and limited functionality. Why re-invent the wheel? Look at the Honda Asimo price or even Actroid for comparison...any human female can do what that Engineer designed simply to to ANY "RED-LIGHT DISTRICT" (it's MUCH cheaper.)
