Progress: Completed
Cost: 250.00
Time to Build: 2 months
The Peanut Tin of Terror was my entry into the 3lb autonomous combat division of Robogames. I have never tried to build a combat robot before because I am not much of a fabricator. I thought I would be immediately destroyed, but instead I went 2-1, and won second place in the competition.
Now I am hooked! I can't wait till next year. I will update more details, as well as other results from Robogames 2010, at: www.trailofdestruction.com

I added some pictures so that you could see the new weapon I put on for Combots 2010 and the line sensors that allowed it to combat autonomously.
I am improving the Peanut Tin
I am improving the Peanut Tin of Terror for Combots , a robot combat competion (www.combots.net), in October. I have added a new weapon, a new weapon motor and LiPo batteries. I have moved the sensors to make them better able to detect low to the ground robots, and added a color sensor to the botttom for line detection.
You can see some video of the old Peanut Tin of Terror in robot combat at:

As if a peanut allergy isn't enough, I now have to worry about them actually chasing me with spinning weapons! Very cool bot, and congrats on placing in the contest.
