This robotic mobile manipulator was built as a prototype for demonstration on autonomous navigation and planning following specific sources, finding goals to reach (light sources in this case), avoiding obstacles, and taking obstacles away its path.
This cheap-minimalist project is intended to be done in real scale for assisting in disaster scenarios.
Controller is based in PIC16F873A, actions in hitec servos, perceptions in contact bumpers and IR's.
