I used very very small pager

I used very very small pager motors from kochi tanaka indoor model airplane shop from Japan.  Very high quality micro miniature Japanese coreless motors.  The gears are some of the smallest gears I could find in some very light 3.2 gram servos.  The gearboxes have such minimal gear reduction that the robot has to be configured to reduce rpm using pwm to slow the robot down by at leat half.

The total robot size without battery or SIP power connectors is 13x10x12 mm's

Can you divulge your source

Can you divulge your source for pager motors? The smallest ones I've been able to find are 16mm long.

Oops! I thought you said

Oops! I thought you said 19 mm. Yeah, I haven't found anything under 16 mm either.

Anton, not sure if this

Anton, not sure if this helps, but it looks like this paper motor from Solarbotics is 16 mm long - Tiny Pager Motor. I can't tell if that's including the shaft length or not.

And speaking of really small motors, this tiny gear motor (21 mm long!) from Solarbotics is absolutely amazing.

I've got a couple of the gear

I've got a couple of the gear motors and plan to use them in my 1" bot, but would like to find something closer to 12mm total length so I can put the motors back to back in the cube and save room for sensors.

The solarbotics min gearmotor dimensions I believe are 19mm or 25mm. I forgot already, it's been a few years since I have seen them. Too big for a robot of this size.

I might build a new Femto soon and try to fit a battery in. There have been a number of advancements on battery technology since I made this.
