Cost: $150
Time to Build: 20 hrs
I stripped off the nerf-turret from a motorworks missile launcher and mounted the device to the top of my Parallax Boe Bot. The unit is powered by its original 9V rechargable. Firing mechanism is triggered by a 5V relay that is I/O'd. It took some trial and error for mounting before I found a 'recoil-less' location. I'm working on installing the cmucam in conjunction with this device to allow the bot the ability to track and eliminate (well nerf assault) any given target.
Components:
- Parallax Boe Bot
- Nerf-Turret from Motorworks Missile Launcher
- 5V relay
- 9V rechargeable pack.

Awesome 'bot! Looks like a great amount of fun. Nerf missiles seem like the perfect Weapon of Minimal Destruction for a bot to fire.
