Pictured is the first incarnation of Weaselcube. It is designed to play the VEX Robotics Competion, Clean Sweep. We have now competed twice with this robot and have 2 more competitons coming up.

The bot (and my daughter)
The bot (and my daughter) performed well at the Texas VEX Competition in Houston last weekend. She made it to the semi-finals (3rd time this year) and lost in three matches.
On a whim we tried the programming challenge and tied for first place. We were given some time to tweak the code and ran one final time to break the tie. Team 9090A upped their score to 44, we pushed the score up to 57.
We don't think we have time to make significant improvements before Worlds, but we'll see what we can do.

Nice! Best of luck in upcoming contests. If it is anything like the FIRST FRC stuff I got to mentor for last year, it must be a huge blast!
We made it to the semi-finals
We made it to the semi-finals yesterday and lost in 3 matches.
Hannah and I sat down when we got home and made a list of 10 or 12 things that need to change before the competition in Galena Park, TX next week.
We've got one last chance to qualify for the World Championship so we're going to make the best of it.
