RoboTrax XL Modular Robotic Track System

The RoboTrax XL is the industry’s first truly affordable modular robotic track system suitable for a range of applications including University Research, High School and Middle School Educational Programs, remote surveillance and inspection, robotics competitions, and hobby use.

Designed for rapid development and deployment, RoboTrax XL provides a low cost, fast, and efficient way to create a variety of robotic applications. Designed for use on rugged terrain, uneven surfaces, thick rugs or carpeting, and any other environment where wheeled robots fall short, allowing you to focus on what matters the most… developing your application.

Powerful enough for outdoor use, the RoboTrax XL operates on a 9-12V supply while drawing less than 1 Amp per module. Each module can supply up to 55 oz-in of torque providing enough power to maneuver over even the most difficult terrain.

RoboTrax XL features a unique, modular mounting bracket arrangement that allows the track unit to be easily mounted to your own custom chassis design. RoboTrax mounting points are symmetrical from side to side so that the unit can be mounted on either the right or left side of the robot chassis using the mounting bracket provided. Additional mounting options are being developed to address an even larger variety of possibilities. We are always happy to entertain customer requests.
