MEGAbitty

The MEGAbitty is one of the smallest fully functinal microcontrollers around. It's quite popular with the nano-sumo and micro-sumo robot building crowd, but it can also be used for a variety of other projects. It uses the Mega8 AVR microcontroller and also has a built in motor driver.

  • Drives two DC motors (up to 500mA each)
  • >500mA regulated 5V power for sensors and peripherals
  • Pre-installed boot-loader for easy serial-port programming (Assembled version only. Requires seperate inexpensive RS232 level converter)
  • Atmel Mega8 AVR Microcontroller
    • 16MIPS (8-bit instructions)
