Last Saturday (6/16) was the annual Sparkfun Autonomous Vehicle Competition where ground and air robots run a timed race around the Sparkfun Building in Boulder. What a show!
I invited all my friends over on Saturday (yeah, THIS Saturday) to witness the maiden voyage of my autonomous robot. Why? To get my sorry butt in gear.
As usual I have too many things going on at once.
Pokey V2.0 is equipped with a Game Boy Camera (a Mitsubishi M64282FP grayscale, edge-detecting wonder). The camera is interfaced to an Ardweeny from Solarbotics. It's slow.
I've been working on coding up a cross-platform java app to design/print rotary (aka shaft) encoders. It's ready for people to test it...
Pokey is now equipped with a Bluetooth radio modem for telemetry and troubleshooting.
Got the gameboy camera interfaced with Ardweeny, talking to java app on the pc... am able to capture pics, adjust registers, save pic, etc...
